Austria, Imperial. A Lot of Four Bravery Medals consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac aboard a Beaufighter If on(Tapferkeitsmedaille). Instituted July 19th, 1789. (1914 1916 Issue). A Bravery Medal I Class, a round silver medal, the obverse depicting a rightward facing effigy of Kaiser Franz Joseph of Austria, the reverse inscribed Der Tapferkeit (For Bravery) within a laurel wreath with banners at the base, measuring 40 mm in diameter, worn on original ribbon with single repetition bar, contact marks throughout, in overall very fine condition.
