The second annual AMV Innovation Day confirmed the growing interest in machine vision. Capacity was filled on both days.
AMV:ID took place this year on November 12–13 in Brno at the premises of our partner Zebra Technologies. After a successful start in Zlín in 2024, we expanded the event to two days for the first time this year. Our goal was to create a space for the machine vision professional community. To connect technologies, real-world applications, and practical experience.
We are pleased that we managed to fill the planned capacity. Over the two days, 100 participants arrived, making a total of 200 people including our organizing team. For us, this confirms that AMV:ID has its place and that there is interest in sharing know-how and bringing experts together.
Program: real-use applications, presentations, and panel discussions
The morning part was focused on practical applications. Guests could visit individual stations, talk to technicians, and try out specific machine vision solutions. The program also included expert lectures. Presentations of our company AMV Technology, our partner Zebra Technologies, and, new this year, more in-depth technical blocks from our colleagues at AMV focused on software, application demonstrations, and technical solutions.
The afternoon was focused on networking and panel discussions, which were introduced for the first time this year. On Wednesday, we welcomed Jakub Adam (NUVIA) and Daniel Ondryáš (Hirschmann). On Thursday, David France (Stueken) and Lukáš Mašlaň (Aura Engineering) joined us.
We are preparing a separate news item on the panel discussions, where we will cover the topic in more detail. Stay tuned.

Pleasant facilities: catering, lunches, and a small gift
Morning and afternoon refreshments were provided for all participants at the venue. Lunch was provided by the local Italian restaurant L'Osteria.
Each guest also received a small gift, namely an AMV winter hat. A caricaturist, who was able to draw a quick caricature in two minutes, also fit perfectly into the atmosphere of the event. It was a pleasant addition to both days.

Thanks to our partners
Our biggest thanks go to Zebra Technologies, which provided us with modern premises in the center of Brno. Thanks to them, this year's AMV:ID had a professional backdrop that significantly enhanced the overall character of the event. Zebra Technologies also helped us with the organization and technical support. We greatly appreciate their role as a strategic partner.
We would also like to thank Photoneo, whose 3D technologies were featured in several practical demonstrations. Visitors could see bin picking using MotionCam cameras and an application that creates an accurate 3D model of a person in a matter of seconds.
Our appreciation goes to LMI Technologies, which, like last year, presented an application based on its 3D sensors and was an important part of the practical demonstrations.
And lastly, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to Hennlich, which joined us again this year with its robotic solution based on robot guidance using a smart camera. We appreciate their long-term support and active participation.

We Thank You
We would like to thank all our partners, participants, and colleagues who created such an inspiring atmosphere over the two days. We are delighted that AMV:ID is growing alongside you. We look forward to next year!
Team AMV
