Panel discussions at AMV:ID 2025: practical experiences, open topics, and inspiration from the field
The two-day AMV:ID 2025 event in Brno featured practical demonstrations, technological presentations, and panel discussions, which were among the liveliest parts of the program. Representatives from NUVIA, Hirschmann Automotive, Stueken, and AURA – engineering Hranice shared their experiences from everyday practice, described specific projects, and explained how they work with machine vision and automation in their operations.
The aim of the panel discussions was not to present the technologies in general terms, but to offer participants an "inside" view of the real requirements, obstacles, and results that modern vision can bring. Below is a brief summary of all four speakers.

Jakub Adam (NUVIA): Demanding customer requirements and the reality of robust automation
Jakub Adam showed what a solution design looks like in practice under the pressure of strict requirements for speed, robustness, and ease of use. His contribution confirmed that professional automation is based primarily on a careful understanding of what the customer really needs and how the entire solution should function in long-term operation.

Daniel Ondryáš (Hirschmann Automotive): Connecting PLCs and cameras in real-time operation
Daniel Ondryáš explained how modern PLC and camera system integration works and how Hirschmann gradually implemented a line with nine cameras, which now runs stably and non-stop. He emphasized the importance of precise synchronization, gradual fine-tuning, and cooperation between teams.

David Franc (Stueken): A line that saves human resources and handles a wide range of products
David Franc presented a story of production where automation became a key element of efficiency. He showed how he gradually transformed their production line into one that can replace the work of several people and at the same time work flexibly with different types of products. His presentation was an important confirmation that well-designed automation is a long-term investment.

Lukáš Mášláň (AURA – engineering Hranice): Modernization of parts inspection in the automotive industry
Lukáš Mášláň gave participants a detailed overview of how final inspections of parts are carried out in today's automotive industry and how these processes are gradually being modernized. He showed how automation has a major impact on stability, repeatability, and overall inspection efficiency, and shared his experiences from real-world projects.

We would like to thank all panel guests for sharing their experiences with participants and bringing practical insights from the production and integration of machine vision systems to AMV:ID 2025. Panel discussions are among the most valuable parts of the program. They connect experts, open up real-world topics, and help inspire further projects.
