Over 100 guests explored the future of machine vision
On Thursday 14 November 2024, the first edition of AMV:ID 2024, the first Czech-Slovak event dedicated to machine vision, took place at the Zlín Technology Innovation Centre. This exclusive event welcomed more than 100 participants from 47 companies across various industries such as automotive, electromobility, machine manufacturing, automation, food, plastics, healthcare, electronics, construction, woodworking, marking technologies and more.
The day was full of inspiration, practical demonstrations and opportunities to make new contacts and share experiences. Guests were able to see real-world machine vision applications, experience the technology in action, discuss with experts and delve into the technology trends shaping the future of the industry.
Why did we host AMV:ID 2024?
One of the main objectives of this event was to show that AMV Technology is a dynamically growing leader in the field of machine vision integration. In a short presentation, we introduced our history and values, as well as the direction we are taking. Our company, which currently has 16 permanent employees and several other freelancers, aims to provide innovative solutions with real value for our clients.
We have demonstrated that we can combine innovation and efficiency for the benefit of our partners and clients, whether through our AMV Lighting products or by providing comprehensive machine vision solutions that integrators use to ensure quality and reliable optical inspection in their manufacturing processes.
What did the program bring?
- Real applications: guests had the opportunity to see machine vision applications in action and try them out for themselves.
- Introduction of AMV Technology - Aleš Kozubík a Vlastimil Čabla
The owners of the company presented its growth and achievements, and at the same time introduced the guests to the team members to show who is behind this dynamic company
- Expert lectures:
Marek Písečný, Channel Account Manager, Zebra Technologies
Marek presented the new developments in Zebra Technologies' portfolio and their contribution in the area of Machine Vision, which is becoming crucial for inspection and automation in manufacturing.
Ivo Kopecký, Channel Manager, LMI Technologies
Ivo presented the possibilities of using confocal technology in 3D imaging and the unique features of Gocator G4/G5 sensors.
- Consultation and discussion:
Josef Ponikelský, Product Manager HENNLICH
Josef was available for individual consultations and discussions on new trends in robotics and automation in industry.
- F1 simulator in real scale: This simulator served as a fun insert for guests to experience driving an authentic Ferrari model.
- Networking: the event was designed to provide a space for establishing new relationships and exchanging experiences in addition to technology.
- Catering: plenty of coffee, lunch and refreshments were provided throughout the event, allowing guests to not only relax but also to make new contacts.
